We are thrilled to unveil MADE EASY SCHOOL’s Inter-School Model United Nations 2024, powered by Aspirant Learning, a platform that celebrates excellence and fosters the spirit of collaboration and growth among young minds.

The previous MUN editions from Aspirant Learning have exemplified our legacy, setting the stage for another high-quality experience at MADE EASY SCHOOL MUN 24 . Affiliated with CBSE and spread across a sprawling 25 Acre Campus in Sector 58-59, Gurugram, MADE EASY SCHOOL is a K-12 institution that is known for the achievements in both academics and cocurricular activities. We are committed to creating a space where students can explore their potential, showcase their talents, and build invaluable skills. In the capacity of the Conference Convenor, I am extremely exhilarated to welcome you all to MES MUN-2024 where ignited minds would transform the world into a better place for tomorrow.

COMMITTEES AT MADE EASY MUN 2024

1. United Nations General Assembly (DISEC)

Agenda: Devising a roadmap for the eradication of illicit arms trade with special reference to state sponsoring of terrorism

UNGA DISEC is the first committee, that deals with disarmament, global challenges, and threats to peace that affect the international community and seeks out solutions to the challenges in the international security regime.

2. United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)

Agenda: Reviewing international regulations to tackle human rights violations with regard to torture, death penalty, and freedom of expression

The Human Rights Council is an inter-governmental body within the United Nations system responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe and for addressing situations of human rights violations and making recommendations on them.

3. International Press (IP)

Students can register as any one of the following: Journalist, Caricaturist, Photographer

The International Press committee consists of caricaturists, photographers, cartoonists and journalists that cover the event as International Press corp. They act as observers in all committees and take note of the proceedings happening via photographs, articles and caricatures.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Eligibility: – The MES Model United Nations 2024 invites student participation from Grade 6 to Grade 12 across various schools.
  • Venue: – MADE EASY SCHOOL, Bandhwari, Near sector 58 & 59, Gurugram
  • Representation: – Delegates are expected to consistently represent the policies and advocate for the interests of the positions assigned to them.
  • Dress Code: – Delegates are required to adhere to a formal dress code, specifically Western formal attire. This reflects the professionalism and decorum expected at MES MUN 2024
  • Code of Conduct: – A zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism and misconduct. Delegates are expected to maintain respectful and constructive debates. Delegates have to bring their own device.
  • Academic Integrity: – Delegates are encouraged to use credible sources and represent country policies accurately, upholding the values of responsible research.

Conference Structure

  • Registration & Opening Ceremony: From 8:30 am Conferences Commence: From 10 am onwards Closing Ceremony and Awards Presentation: 4 PM Cultural Evening: 4:30 PM
  • Early Registration Encouraged: – Due to limited seats, early registration is advised to guarantee a place. Entries will close once capacity is reached.
